Sovereign Pet Food – Our Story

In 2001, we welcomed our first family dog, Taz, a little whirlwind who quickly became a much-loved member of the family. As our family grew, so did the number of dogs sharing our lives, and we wanted to provide them with the same care and nutrition we would give our children.

After researching many pet food brands, we struggled to find a product that met our standards. Many foods contained low-quality ingredients, artificial colours and preservatives, unnecessary fillers, and animal derivatives rather than fresh meat.

Determined to create something better, we partnered with one of the UK’s leading pet food manufacturers and launched Sovereign Pet Food.

Our recipes are formulated with high-quality natural ingredients, a high meat content, and excellent nutritional balance. All our foods are Grain Free, highly digestible, contain no added artificial colours or preservatives, and are proudly made in the UK using UK-sourced ingredients wherever possible.

The difference was clear. Our dogs enjoyed their meals, maintained healthy energy levels, developed glossy coats, and benefited from the superior digestibility of our recipes.

In 2011, we opened a pet shop in our local village and built a thriving business supplying Sovereign Pet Food throughout the local area and beyond. As demand continued to grow, customers encouraged us to launch our website, making our food accessible to pet owners across the UK.

Today, our mission remains simple: to provide natural, nutritious, high-quality pet food that helps dogs and cats live happy, healthy lives.
